Ricotta Ham Rolls

1.6K
If you are one of those Italian food lovers like us, then ricotta cheese is always there in your fridge. I keep experimenting with ideas to use this delicious creamy cheese and Ricotta Ham Rolls are one of my favourites. This is the quickest meal when in need. You just need some ham slices of your choice, some ricotta, olives and you be done in no time. Ricotta ham rolls make great finger food to include in party appetisers or a quick snack for 6-9 hunger. I served them with simple macaroni pasta which complimented with it very well, keeping us full for longer. If you don’t want to add carbs to your meal, these go along with soups and salads as well.

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 6-7 black olives minced

  • Now spread a thin layer of cheese mixture on top with a spoon and roll gently.
  • Cut the rolls in half and refrigerate for 5-10 mins to harden the cheese little bit.
  • You can also use toothpicks to keep the rolls stuck if there is no time to refrigerate.

Notes

You can replace olives with finely chopped jalapeno peppers or green chillies to add extra spice, just remove the seeds.
