Banana Berry Yogurt Smoothie is a power-glass of nutrition if you are targeting a healthy quick breakfast or post workout intake. The healthy combination of both fruits is not only sweet and savoury, it is also rich in potassium, fibres, and antioxidants. It helps regulate digestion decreasing the risk of kidney stones. I came across some stimulating health benefits of adding coconut oil in breakfast smoothies. Not only it enhances the taste, but also improves brain function, immunity, metabolism, great for skin & hair and has many other advantages for overall health. I added some fresh yogurt along with fruits and about two spoons of ORi Health HEVCO Coconut Oil in the smoothie to amplify its flavour and nourishment.   • 1 cup fresh strawberries cut in half
  • 3 fresh bananas
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 tsp HEVCO coconut oil

Instructions

  • Blend all ingredients together in a blender and enjoy a healthy nourishing breakfast.

Notes

Since coconut oil may solidify while blending with ice or cold ingredients, either use fruits kept at room temperature or just blend the oil with yogurt before adding cold fruits. However, solidification doesn’t affect either the quality or nutritional value of the oil.
