Gourd & Carrot Detox juice is a powerhouse of antioxidants, high fibre, and great anti-inflammatory drink. It's nutritious and removes blood impurities, cleanses internally and has many health benefits for skin, hair, eyes and body.
Not only the juice is great for health, the fibre it leaves is useful too. Read on my recipe notes for various uses of the roughage.

Ingredients

  • 1 large bottle gourd
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Instructions

  • Wash and peel bottle gourd and carrots, remove any inedible parts and seeds from the gourd.
  • Juice them up in a juicer and add lime juice, enjoy it cool.

Notes

Don’t throw away the roughage left from bottle gourd and carrots, there is a lot of healthy fibres in these and can be used to make spicy vegetable patties or kofta. You can also use this roughage to make your gravies and pastas thicker, this way it adds more fibres to your meals.
