Honey Oat Cookies are a healthy version of a light tea time snacks made from oats and honey, flavoured with a pinch of cinnamon. Say bye bye to sugar.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup chopped figs and cashews
- 2 tbsp Chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 176°C.
- Mix the butter, honey and egg together.
- Add in the dry ingredients in the oats. Mix all in to the other mixture.
- Add the figs and cashews, mix well.
- Prepare the baking tray by setting a long piece of aluminum foil over it, grease the foil with some butter or cooking oil.
- Drop by piling 1-2 tsp onto the greased foil, keep some distance between each cookie.
- Top few chocolate chips on every cookie
- Bake around 15-18 mins and let them cool down.
- These cookies will be chewy but taste good and are healthy tea time snack.
