Stir Fried Celery

A light Stir Fried Celery recipe along with boiled eggs to make a healthy lunch/dinner meal when you are cutting carbs from your diet.

Equipment

  • deep/sauce pan

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Celery (chopped into small sticks)
  • 1-2 cloves garlic minced
  • 4-5 slices of pickles jalapeño
  • 8-10 cherry tomatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp olive oil
  • 1-2 boiled eggs cut in half

Instructions

  • Wash and celery and cut into long pieces.
  • Take a non-stick pan and heat olive oil in it.
  • Add cumin seeds and garlic, let garlic turn golden
  • Now add celery, some salt, mix up and cover, cook on a low flame
  • As celery turn soft and looks steamed, add cherry tomatoes and pickles, top with crushed black pepper.
  • Close the heat and keep covered for just about a minute.
  • Serve hot in a deep dish along with a boiled egg.

Notes
