A light Stir Fried Celery recipe along with boiled eggs to make a healthy lunch/dinner meal when you are cutting carbs from your diet.
Equipment
- deep/sauce pan
Ingredients
- 2 cups Celery (chopped into small sticks)
- 1-2 cloves garlic minced
- 4-5 slices of pickles jalapeño
- 8-10 cherry tomatoes
- salt and pepper
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- ½ tsp olive oil
- 1-2 boiled eggs cut in half
Instructions
- Wash and celery and cut into long pieces.
- Take a non-stick pan and heat olive oil in it.
- Add cumin seeds and garlic, let garlic turn golden
- Now add celery, some salt, mix up and cover, cook on a low flame
- As celery turn soft and looks steamed, add cherry tomatoes and pickles, top with crushed black pepper.
- Close the heat and keep covered for just about a minute.
- Serve hot in a deep dish along with a boiled egg.
